Connecting to the Reason MCP

Reason MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that gives Claude direct access to Reason Automation's partner database, execution logs, and schema tools from within your Claude conversation.

Server URL:

https://mcp.services.reasonautomation.com

Example: How to Connect in Claude.ai

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Click Add MCP Server
  3. Enter the server URL: https://mcp.services.reasonautomation.com
  4. Name it Reason MCP
  5. Click Connect and follow the prompts to authorize — this step is required. The server will show as Configure until you've completed it. Once authorized, the status will update to show it's connected.

Once connected, simply ask Claude questions about your Amazon data and Claude should automatically begin using the Reason Automation MCP to answer. You may need to Authorize or Allow the first time Claude uses the tools in our MCP, such as get-schema.

What can I do with the Reason Automation MCP?

Our MCP brings your entire Amazon database into your AI workspace. You can ask Claude questions about your Amazon business performance, financials, and operations, with our decades of Amazon experience built in automatically.

Example questions to get you started:

  • “Recalculate our Net PPM by ASIN using actual co-op deductions from remittance details, and compare it to Amazon’s Retail Analytics figure.”
  • “How much traffic do we need to drive to achieve Amazon’s mean forecast given our recent conversion rates? Are there gaps we should be concerned about?”
  • “Create a dashboard that shows our true P&L by week compared to Amazon’s PPM.”
  • “What are the main reasons Amazon pulls our products from search? Which products are most affected and how much is it costing us?”
  • “Which products are the largest drags on Net PPM?”
  • “Help me create a PO forecast starting from Amazon’s forecasted consumer demand and using relevant weeks of cover, conversion, and other assumptions from my business.”
